Description
Sample scoop SteriPlast® is a sterile disposable sampling scoop made from high-quality white polystyrene (PS), equipped with a transparent lid and a nominal volume of 0,15 l. Measuring 218 mm in length, each scoop is manufactured, assembled and individually packed under ISO class 7 cleanroom conditions, then sterilised by gamma irradiation for demanding cleanliness standards. The transparent lid protects the interior sampling zone from airborne particles and dust even after removal from the outer packaging; after sampling, the scoop can be resealed to keep the sample contamination-free, reduce loss or spillage and help maintain physical and chemical properties by limiting exposure to air and moisture. Designed for powders, granules and pastes, the ergonomic form and gently rising front edge enable simple set-down without sample loss. Single-use operation removes cleaning and re-sterilisation steps, lowers cross-contamination risk and improves hygiene and staff safety. These SteriPlast® scoops from manufacturer Bürkle come in packs of 10 pieces and serve pharmaceutical, food-technology, biotechnology and related laboratories where contamination control and sample integrity are critical for quality control, research and production in clean environments.

Questions about Scoop SteriPlast, PS, sterile, 150ml, with cover
What is this article?
Scoop SteriPlast, PS, sterile, 150ml, with cover is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
