The transparent lid keeps the sampling area shielded from airborne particles and dust once the outer pack is opened, and allows the scoop to be closed immediately so the sample stays secured against loss, spillage, air and moisture during transport or short-term storage. High-quality white polystyrene scoops are manufactured, assembled and individually packed under ISO cleanroom class 7 conditions, then gamma-sterilised. Nominal volume is 0,025 l. Ergonomic geometry and a slightly rising front edge aid handling and set-down without sample loss.
