Description
Scratcher V4A is a sampling lance developed for cohesive, caking and non-free-flowing powders and granules. A scraping edge at the collection chamber directs material into a closable inner tube, enabling proper target-point sampling from a defined layer even when the product does not flow freely. Despite the effective scraper, the lance fits narrow openings from 32 mm diameter and delivers a low sample volume of 10 ml with a groove length of 45 mm at Ø 25 mm.
This article is part of Other lab tools & accessories, in Tools & accessories.
Two additional handles support secure insertion, fixing and rotation in the bulk, while easy disassembly facilitates thorough cleaning. The sampler is suited to laboratories and industrial settings in food, pharma, chemistry and materials science where contamination-controlled samples of non-pourable substances are required, including big bags, drums and smaller storage containers. Close the chamber, insert to depth, open by turning the upper handle, rotate 360° so the scraper fills the chamber, close again, withdraw, invert and empty through the open inner tube. This Scratcher from manufacturer Bürkle combines a scraping edge with compact geometry for reliable sampling of sticky or agglomerating solids.

Questions about Scratcher, 316L, 10 ml, flute length 45 mm, Ø 25mm
What is this article?
Scratcher, 316L, 10 ml, flute length 45 mm, Ø 25mm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Other lab tools & accessories, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
This shelf is the bench tools that do not belong to a narrower rack: odd holders, small aids, pieces that complete a setup. The useful check is what the tool touches, and whether that contact adds a contaminant.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
