Description

SONOPULS HD 4200 ultrasonic homogeniser covers laboratory volumes from 5 to 1000 ml and is delivered as a ready-to-use basic outfit for 20 ml to 900 ml. Included are ultrasonic generator GM 4200, ultrasonic transducer UW 200, stepped horn SH 200 G and titanium plate TT 213, Ø 13 mm, together with tools for mounting the sonotrodes. Amplitude regulation from 10 to 100 % with actual-value display, pulse operation, integrated timer and remote control enable controlled processing. AMPLICHRON® circuitry ensures constant amplitude regardless of varying load conditions. With 200 W nominal power, this Bandelin homogeniser supports cell, bacteria, virus and tissue disruption, production of finest emulsions, homogenisation of substances, degassing of liquids, sample preparation for grain-size analysis and acceleration of chemical reactions. Deliverable sonotrode diameters are 3 / 4,5 / 6 / 9 / 13 / 16 / 19 and 25 mm. The complete system is CE-marked for laboratory applications.

Questions about SONOPULS HD 4050 Ultrasonic homogeniser

What is this article?

SONOPULS HD 4050 Ultrasonic homogeniser is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bandelin for laboratory use. It sits in Homogenisers & dispersers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.

A homogeniser or disperser uses a rotor inside a stator to tear a sample and disperse it. Tip diameter and speed decide the particle size. A generator for 2 mL and a generator for 1 L are different tools on, sometimes, the same drive.

Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
