The 45,0 l sonication tank (internal dimensions 500 × 300 × 300 mm) cleans thoroughly yet gently by intensive cavitation bubbles, including at hard-to-reach points on the items being cleaned. An intuitive touchscreen simplifies setting and monitoring of ultrasonic power, cleaning duration and temperature; irradiation intervals and temperature limits can be defined. Internal programme memory supports secure reproducibility of validated sample-preparation processes. Fully automatic SweepTec prevents standing waves in the ultrasonic field and delivers especially uniform cleaning, while the Degas function that can be activated at the start of a cycle further strengthens ultrasonic cleaning action. Ultrasonic peak power is 1200 W, heating power 1450 W and nominal power 300 W. The unit from manufacturer Bandelin is fitted with a ball-valve drain G ½ and 50 cm hose on the left side. Matching baskets, lids and cleaning and disinfection concentrates are available as accessories. On request the bath is also offered as a 115 V variant or with Swiss or British plug.
