Description

SONOREX smart ST 255 H is a high-performance ultrasonic cleaner with integrated heating for use in practices, laboratories and workshops. The robust bath cleans thoroughly yet gently by intensive cavitation bubbles, reaching even poorly accessible areas of the items being cleaned. Tank capacity is 5,5 l with interior dimensions of 300 × 150 × 150 mm. Nominal ultrasonic power is 160 W, peak ultrasonic power reaches 640 W, and heating power is 280 W. An intuitive touchscreen simplifies setting and monitoring of ultrasonic power, cleaning duration and temperature. Sonication intervals and temperature limits can be defined, while internal programme memory supports secure reproducibility of validated sample-preparation processes. Fully automatic SweepTec prevents standing waves in the ultrasonic field and promotes especially uniform cleaning. An activatable degas function at the start of the cycle further strengthens ultrasonic cleaning action. Drainage is provided by a ball valve G ¼ with a 25 cm hose on the right-hand side. Matching baskets, lids and cleaning or disinfection concentrates are available as accessories from manufacturer Bandelin. On request the unit is also offered as 115 V, Swiss-plug or British-plug variants.

Questions about SONOREX smart ST 156 BH Ultrasonic bath with heating, Capacity/Volume: 9,0 liter

What is this article?

SONOREX smart ST 156 BH Ultrasonic bath with heating, Capacity/Volume: 9,0 liter is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bandelin for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrasonic baths & cleaners, inside Ultrasonic baths & lab washers, in Lab instruments.

An ultrasonic cleaner drops parts into a bath where collapsing bubbles scrub joints and bores. Tank volume and ultrasonic power are the ratings. A basket keeps items off the tank floor, where the transducers are. The liquid is usually water plus a cleaning concentrate, not a strong solvent, unless the tank is rated for it.

An ultrasonic bath cleans by cavitation: the sound collapses tiny bubbles against the surface and lifts soil out of joints a brush cannot reach. The chemistry of the bath liquid still matters. A laboratory glassware washer is the machine that replaces hand washing when the load is large or the result has to be repeatable. Rinse water quality decides whether the glass comes out spotted. The ware being washed is listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
