Description

SONOREX TECHNIK VORTEX WR 4-1604.04 is a vortex reactor engineered for homogeneous ultrasonic processing of liquid media at 1600 W nominal power and 40 kHz. Defined flow guidance through a double gap ensures uniform sonication along the cavitation-intensive inner surface of the reactor tube and in the intense acoustic field of the double-gap region. Extra swirling of the medium on entry into the tube further enhances homogenisation. Ultrasonic peak power reaches 6400 W. The reactor is intended to intensify industrial, biotechnological and chemical operations such as suspending, emulsifying, deagglomerating, reaction acceleration and degassing. Typical uses cover intensive degassing of dye and photographic casting solutions, CO2 removal from aqueous reactants, support of disinfection during water and wastewater treatment, decontamination of organic content in industrial rinse fluids for reuse, support of disinfection of germ- and parasite-burdened fish-farm recirculation water, manufacture of ultrafine polishing pastes for wafer production, and homogenisation of colour pigments in oil for paint making. Supplied as 1 pkg from manufacturer Bandelin, it has a net weight of 30 kg, a gross weight of 36 kg and a packaging volume of 0,03 m³.

This article is part of Ultrasonic baths & cleaners, in Ultrasonic baths & lab washers.

Questions about SONOREX TECHNIK VORTEX WR 4-1402.04 Vortexreactor, 1400 W, 25 kHz

What is this article?

SONOREX TECHNIK VORTEX WR 4-1402.04 Vortexreactor, 1400 W, 25 kHz is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bandelin for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrasonic baths & cleaners, inside Ultrasonic baths & lab washers, in Lab instruments.

An ultrasonic cleaner drops parts into a bath where collapsing bubbles scrub joints and bores. Tank volume and ultrasonic power are the ratings. A basket keeps items off the tank floor, where the transducers are. The liquid is usually water plus a cleaning concentrate, not a strong solvent, unless the tank is rated for it.

An ultrasonic bath cleans by cavitation: the sound collapses tiny bubbles against the surface and lifts soil out of joints a brush cannot reach. The chemistry of the bath liquid still matters. A laboratory glassware washer is the machine that replaces hand washing when the load is large or the result has to be repeatable. Rinse water quality decides whether the glass comes out spotted. The ware being washed is listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
