Description

Staining bench with two tilting devices and rack is a stainless-steel laboratory workstation designed for slide staining in histology. Built from Nirosta stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) and electropolished for high chemical resistance, it provides a working width of 570 mm and accommodates approximately 36 microscope slides—18 per independently operated tilting unit. Each tilting device offers dedicated positions for staining and washing; wash water is guided via a floor drain fitted with a 16 mm hose connector into a sink or collection vessel. The front section of the bench can be folded open so slides can be heated with a Bunsen burner, for example during TB staining protocols. Supplied with a matching stand for vibration-free, secure use on the laboratory bench, the complete assembly from manufacturer Landgraf HLL measures about 610 mm overall width, 255 mm depth and 445 mm height, with a net weight of roughly 12 kg. Delivery includes the staining trough with two tilting devices plus the rack, ready for routine histological staining workflows.

A test-tube rack holds tubes upright in an order the operator can read back. The hole diameter and the number of places have to match the tubes. An autoclave-safe rack and a cardboard rack are not interchangeable once heat is involved.

A stand, a clamp and a rack hold something still so the hands can do the work. A bosshead locks a clamp to a rod. A test-tube rack keeps tubes upright and in an order the operator can read back. The failure is almost always mechanical: the clamp slips, or the rack does not match the tube diameter. The glass they support is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
