Description
Stainless Steel Sample Kit supports temperature monitoring and sample handling on laboratory thermal equipment. Anodised aluminium blocks are available for micro tubes, vessels, centrifuge tubes, PCR tubes, strips and plates, microplates and cuvettes; solid blocks may be used for slides or drilled to custom requirements. Baths provide an ideal solution for holding numerous tubes of varying sizes, irregularly shaped samples or applications lacking a specific block size. Silica gel promotes more uniform temperature distribution, while stainless-steel gravel accelerates temperature rise. The kit comprises a PT100 RTD temperature sensor, a 45,7 cm stainless-steel stand rod, a thermometer clamp and a hook connector. These components allow the actual block or sample temperature to be read and displayed on the control panel. Offered by manufacturer Ohaus as part of a comprehensive accessory range, the kit is supplied as one set with net and gross weight of 1,1 kg. Packaging measures 0,61 m depth, 0,102 m width and 0,102 m height for a volume of 0,006 m³. Country of origin is the USA; the product type is miscellaneous and no display devices are included.
This article is part of Temperature control accessories, in Heating, drying & cooling.

Questions about Stainless Steel Probe Kit
What is this article?
Stainless Steel Probe Kit is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Ohaus for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature control accessories, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
Temperature-control accessories are the probes, the lids, the racks and the fluids that complete a bath or a circulator. A lid is what keeps a water bath from evaporating away. The fluid's flash point is part of the choice.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
