Description

STAMMOPUR R instrument cleaner concentrate is intended for manual cleaning and pre-cleaning of general, surgical, invasive and non-invasive medical instruments, accessories and components of medical devices. Application takes place in ultrasonic baths and by immersion during instrument reprocessing in the AEMP in clinics, medical practices and medical foot care. The mildly alkaline formulation offers very high material compatibility and removes fresh and stubborn contaminants such as blood, secretions and sputum from metal, titanium, glass, porcelain, ceramic and plastics. Suitability recommendations for endoscopes and accessories are available from Karl Storz GmbH and Richard Wolf GmbH. In the ultrasonic bath a 2 % dilution is used with a contact time of 3–10 minutes; without ultrasound, 3–5 % is applied for up to 12 hours depending on soiling. Fresh blood and protein residues should be treated cold; stubborn soils may be warmed to 60 °C. Per 100 g the composition includes more than 10 % 2-propanol, anionic and non-ionic surfactants, complexing agents and alkalis. The 2,0 litre pack from manufacturer Bandelin is for trained professional users, is recommended as a 2 % coupling liquid for STAMMOPUR GR, and must be diluted with water of at least drinking-water quality without further additives.

Questions about STAMMOPUR GR Instrument basic cleaner – concentrate, Capacity/Volume: 1,0 liters

What is this article?

STAMMOPUR GR Instrument basic cleaner – concentrate, Capacity/Volume: 1,0 liters is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bandelin for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrasonic cleaning concentrates, inside Ultrasonic baths & lab washers, in Lab instruments.

An ultrasonic concentrate is the chemistry added to the bath. Cavitation lifts soil. The concentrate holds it so it does not resettle. The dilution and the metals it may touch are the specification. A concentrate is not itself a disinfectant unless it says so.

An ultrasonic bath cleans by cavitation: the sound collapses tiny bubbles against the surface and lifts soil out of joints a brush cannot reach. The chemistry of the bath liquid still matters. A laboratory glassware washer is the machine that replaces hand washing when the load is large or the result has to be repeatable. Rinse water quality decides whether the glass comes out spotted. The ware being washed is listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
