Straight-through valve stopcock, PRODURAN® is a precision laboratory valve with an adjustable passage of 0–2,5 mm for fine control of gases and liquids. A fine-thread spindle allows sensitive height adjustment of the valve opening, while thick-walled side arms make the unit suitable for high-vacuum service. Flowing media contact only DURAN® glass and PTFE, enabling grease-free operation. The composite construction of glass, metal and plastics yields a compact, easily dismantled valve; an anti-unscrew feature prevents complete withdrawal of the spindle and the adjustable pin extends service life. Produced by Duran/DWK Life Sciences from borosilicate glass 3.3, this PRODURAN® stopcock is intended for incorporation into glass apparatus, including Schlenk lines and vacuum–inert-gas manifolds. Net weight is 0,041 kg. It is ideal for dosing and regulating fluids under vacuum or inert conditions where clean, grease-free media paths and precise flow setting are required.
