Description
SX723 portable pH/conductivity meter set is a cost-effective dual-parameter instrument for industrial, mining, energy, wastewater and environmental applications, especially field and on-site use. An integrated microprocessor provides automatic calibration, automatic temperature compensation, data storage, function settings, self-diagnosis, auto power-off and low-battery indication. The meter automatically recognises the connected pH or conductivity electrode. Advanced conductivity measurement uses a K=1 cell constant electrode with one-point calibration and accuracy suitable for 0,5 μS/cm to 200 mS/cm; conductivity, TDS, salinity and resistivity are switchable, with automatic calculation of TDS and salinity. Eight conductivity standard solutions are recognised, with Europe/America or China series options. Pure-water and ammonia-pure-water pH modes plus non-linear temperature compensation for pure water are available. From manufacturer APERA Instruments, the IP57-rated handheld stores 200 data groups and runs on two AA batteries. pH range is −2,00 to 19,99 with automatic 1- to 3-point calibration; mV range is ±1999 mV. The complete kit includes the 201T-S pH electrode, 2301T-S conductivity electrode, pH 4,00/7,00/10,01 calibration solutions (50 ml each), 1413 μS/cm conductivity standard (50 ml), screwdriver and carrying case for reliable field measurement.

Questions about SX723, Portable pH/Cond. Meter Kit
What is this article?
SX723, Portable pH/Cond. Meter Kit is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Conductivity meters & cells, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
