Description

Immersion resistance thermometer WT-MI-303-D-40E is a Pt100 sensor assembly built for immersion temperature measurement in laboratory applications. Configured to DIN EN 60751 Class A in 4-wire technique, it uses a stainless-steel sheathed measuring element with a fixed stainless-steel transition sleeve of ø 6 × 40 mm. A permanently attached connection cable, 4 × 0,22 mm² Teflon/silicone insulated and 2 m long, exits through heat-shrink protection for mechanical strain relief. Sheath diameter is 3 mm and nominal immersion length is 150 mm. The operating range covers −50 °C to +200 °C. Connection is made via a Physics plug that supports 0,01 °C resolution and is compatible with PHYSICS 100 and PHYSICS 300 instruments. This standard version from manufacturer Schneider suits routine immersion measurements where Class A Pt100 accuracy, robust stainless-steel construction and a ready-to-use 2 m lead are required in teaching, quality-control or research laboratories.

Questions about Temperature probe, WT-MI-303-D-40E # Standard

What is this article?

Temperature probe, WT-MI-303-D-40E # Standard is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Schneider for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
