Description
The testo 162 T2 is an easy-to-use online climate data logger with display for temperature monitoring via two external NTC probe connections. External sensors extend the measuring range to −50 to +150 °C with ±0,3 °C accuracy and 0,1 °C resolution, making the unit suitable for flexible multi-point applications. Limit exceedances trigger alerts by push notification, e-mail or optional SMS. Integration with the testo Smart App simplifies commissioning, push alarms and dashboard monitoring, while values are stored automatically in the testo Saveris cloud. WLAN (802.11 b/g/n) handles data transfer; measurement and communication cycles are settable from 1 min to 24 h, with capacity for 10.000 readings per channel. The robust IP65 housing supports use in demanding surroundings. Four AA alkaline-manganese batteries provide about one year of operation at a 15-minute interval, and continuous power is possible with an optional mains unit. This logger from manufacturer Testo is delivered with batteries, wall holder, test protocol, USB cable and documentation and carries EN12830 and HACCP approvals.

Questions about testo 162 T2 - Online data logger with, display and 2 connections for NTC temper
What is this article?
testo 162 T2 - Online data logger with, display and 2 connections for NTC temper is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Testo for laboratory use. It sits in Data loggers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.
A data logger stores a temperature, a humidity or another signal over time, so a shipment or a room has a record rather than a spot reading. The interval, the memory and the sensor range are the specification. A logger that is full has stopped being a record.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
