The testo 176 P1 is a five-channel data logger for high-accuracy documentation of ambient conditions in laboratories and comparable settings. An integrated sensor precisely measures absolute pressure from 600 mbar to 1100 mbar; in addition, up to two temperature/humidity probes can be connected from a wide range of optional sensors. When probes are attached, the large display shows the dew point together with current readings, programmed limit values, minimum and maximum values, limit violations and remaining battery life, so a PC connection is unnecessary for a quick overview.

The supplied lock protects the instrument against unauthorised access. With a measurement data memory of 2 million values and a battery life of up to 8 years, data need to be read out far less frequently even at shorter measuring cycles. The standard AA battery is user-replaceable at any time. Programming and evaluation are supported by free ComSoft Basic software for rapid setup and simple analysis, optional ComSoft Professional for more detailed evaluation, and optional ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 for pharmacy requirements. A USB cable (not in the scope of delivery) is required for programming; measured data can also be transferred via optional SD card.
