Description
testoterm Mini indicators +143.. +166 °C are self-adhesive, temperature-sensitive films that respond to temperature exceedances with a distinct colour change. They are intended for temperature monitoring of products and processes where a specific temperature must not be exceeded, including applications on moving or small objects and for long-term observation. Supplied as a booklet of 10 pieces, the mini indicators peel off like stickers and adhere easily to the object under test. The indicators carry the temperature points +143 °C, +149 °C, +154 °C, +160 °C and +166 °C. As soon as one of these thresholds is crossed, the corresponding spots change colour within 2 to 3 seconds. The colouration is irreversible and remains visible even after the temperature falls again, allowing critical exceedances to be identified at a later time. These temperature mini indicators from manufacturer Testo offer a compact, passive means of documenting thermal events in laboratory and industrial settings that require reliable threshold indication without continuous instrumentation.

Questions about testoterm Mini indicators, +143 … +166, °C
What is this article?
testoterm Mini indicators, +143 … +166, °C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Testo for laboratory use. It sits in Digital thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.
A digital thermometer is a display plus a sensor. The resolution on the screen can be finer than the accuracy. The stated accuracy and the calibration point are what the number is worth. The probe type has to be the one the meter expects.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
