Description

Thread adapter for Dispensette®, Titrette®, seripettor® and QuikSip™ is a polypropylene bottle adapter that couples liquid-handling instruments with outer thread GL 45 to bottles with GL 32–33 neck threads. The PP body forms a practical mechanical link between the instrument and the bottle, enabling bottle-top dispensers, bottle-top burettes and related dosing devices to be mounted on smaller GL 32-type reagent bottles. On the instrument side the adapter uses a GL 45 thread; on the bottle side it is intended for GL 32 bottle threads (GL 32–33 range as specified), so laboratories can retain preferred vessels while keeping the same Brand dosing hardware. This thread transition is helpful in routine dispensing, titration and aspiration work where GL 45 instrument fittings must meet GL 32 bottle necks. Supplied as a single piece with a net weight of 0,0144 kg and a gross weight of 0,01 kg, the adapter is specified as non-sterile and packs compactly for bench or drawer storage. From manufacturer Brand, this PP thread adapter broadens bottle options for Dispensette®, seripettor®, Titrette® and QuikSip™ systems that require a GL 45 to GL 32–33 connection.

What is this article?

Thread adapter Disp./Titrette/seripettor, PP out.thread GL 45 bottle thr. GL 32- is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Brand for laboratory use. It sits in Rotor adapters & accessories, inside Centrifuges, in Lab instruments.

An adapter lets a rotor spun for large tubes accept smaller ones. The adapter has to be the one for that rotor, and the tubes have to be supported at the shoulder the adapter was designed for. A stack of the wrong inserts is an unbalanced load.

A centrifuge separates by density. The rotor spins the sample and the force is reported as a multiple of gravity, not as a raw speed, because the same revolutions per minute are a different force at a different radius. A microcentrifuge takes small tubes. A benchtop or floor model takes larger rotors. The tube, the adapter and the rotor have to be the combination the manufacturer rated. An unbalanced load is how centrifuges fail. Measurement of the related quantities sits with the BIPM.
