Description

Tube furnace TF3 16/100/600 CC-T1 is a horizontal three-zone tube furnace for high-temperature work up to 1600 °C, using silicon carbide heating elements. The heated length is 600 mm and the maximum tube outer diameter is 100 mm; tube length reaches 1180 mm under air and 1400 mm under protective gas. A homogeneous zone of 460 mm maintains ±5 °C at 1500 °C. External dimensions of the furnace including the control unit are 775 × 1090 × 705 mm (H × W × D). Maximum power is 8,0 kW with a type R thermocouple; the system weighs 100 kg and connects to 400 V, three-phase with earth and neutral, 50 Hz. Adjustable digital overtemperature protection with a separate thermocouple is fitted as standard. From manufacturer Carbolite Gero, the furnace body is delivered mounted on the control unit and can be detached for bench-top horizontal use via a 2 m interconnect cable. The CC-T1 program controller and data logger features a 4,3” touchscreen, front USB and rear Ethernet, CSV recording on customer media, ten programs with 24 segments each, programmable start time and password-protected operator, supervisor and administrator levels. Matching air, protective-gas or vacuum packages must be selected separately for furnace operation.

Questions about Medium 3- zone tube furnace 16/100/600 CC-T1 Touchscreen Controller (3 Zones)

What is this article?

Medium 3- zone tube furnace 16/100/600 CC-T1 Touchscreen Controller (3 Zones) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carbolite Gero for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
