Description
The Tube furnace TS3 12/125/1000 CC-T1 is a horizontal three-zone split tube furnace rated to 1200 °C for demanding thermal processing. Resistance-wire elements sit in premium vacuum-formed fibre insulation. Heated length is 1000 mm, accommodating tubes of 1350 mm under air or 1600 mm under protective gas; maximum tube outer diameter without work tube is 125 mm. Furnace exterior measures 430×1265×575 mm (H×W×D), while the separate control unit is 220×655×480 mm. Maximum power draw is 3,81 kW with type N thermocouple sensing; supply is 400 V, 3-phase with earth and neutral, 50 Hz. Supplied by manufacturer Carbolite Gero, the furnace body may be placed directly on a bench and connects to the controller by a 2 m detachable cable. The CC-T1 program controller and data logger offers a 4,3" touchscreen, 10 programs of 24 segments, USB and Ethernet ports, CSV logging to USB stick, real-time clock with scheduled start, multi-language menus and three password-protected user levels. Air, protective-gas or vacuum packages must be ordered for operation; optional digital over-temperature protection is available.

Questions about Medium 3-zone split tube furnace 12/125/1000 CC-T1 Touchscreen Controller (3 Zon
What is this article?
Medium 3-zone split tube furnace 12/125/1000 CC-T1 Touchscreen Controller (3 Zon is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carbolite Gero for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
