Description

UV lamp UV-Compact 06 TOC, 600 l/h is a compact UV reactor for disinfection and photo-oxidation aimed at TOC reduction in pure water, ultrapure water and process-water streams. The emitter is mounted in a pressure-resistant quartz tube within an externally electropolished stainless-steel housing (1.4301). Volume redirection supports both a high germ-kill rate and TOC degradation. Dual-wavelength output at 254 / 185 nm and a radiant power of 25 W address disinfection and oxidative TOC reduction in one unit. Rated flow at 1200 J/m² and T10 = 98 % is 10 l/min. Maximum operating pressure is 10 bar with a pressure drop of max. 0,1 bar; maximum water temperature is 35 °C. Lamp lifetime is stated as 8000 h; electrical connection is 230 V, 50–60 Hz, with 3/4'' process connections. Housing spacing between water connections is 460 mm, overall height 600 mm and diameter 180 mm; free height above the unit for emitter removal is 2000 mm. Net weight is 5,5 kg. Control electronics are fitted in a separate plastic enclosure and linked by cable; horizontal or vertical mounting is possible. The assembly is from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies.

Questions about UV Compact 06 TOC UV reactor, 600 l/h

What is this article?

UV Compact 06 TOC UV reactor, 600 l/h is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Cold light sources & lighting, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.

A cold light keeps the heat of the lamp away from a living or a melting specimen, usually by a fibre light guide. It is the illuminator for a stereo microscope. Colour temperature matters when the image is photographed. A hot lamp over a dissection dries the sample.

A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
