Description
Volumetric pipette 3 ml, soda-lime glass, Class AS with blue print, Certificate of Conformity and batch certificate is intended for precise measuring and transferring of liquids in volumetric work. Fabricated from soda-lime glass (AR-Glas®) to Class AS, the pipette is calibrated for delivery (“Ex”) at + 20 °C reference temperature. Its volume tolerances comply with the error limits of the German Weights and Measures Act and with ISO and DIN. Only a fixed nominal volume can be dispensed. The blue graduation is fired into the glass and remains permanently legible. Full drainage supports uptake of varying liquid amounts and complete release of the entire contents, and the rapid-delivery construction reduces waiting time versus Class A. Units that carry Class AS accuracy together with a batch number are delivered with a batch certificate stating the mean value obtained from the batch measurement, the standard deviation and the date of issue; certificates can also be retrieved online. The four-digit batch code encodes production year and batch (e.g. 18.01). Designed for accurate liquid metering, volumetry and delivery of a defined total volume, this 3 ml pipette from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences fits routine laboratory use. Pack size is 1 piece.
This article is part of Volumetric pipettes, in Pipettes & pipette tips.

Questions about Volumetric Pipette, soda-lime glass, Class AS, blue print, CoC, batch certificat
What is this article?
Volumetric Pipette, soda-lime glass, Class AS, blue print, CoC, batch certificat is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes DWK Life Sciences for laboratory use. It sits in Volumetric pipettes, inside Pipettes & pipette tips, in Lab consumables.
A volumetric pipette has a single mark and a bulb, and it delivers one volume with a tighter tolerance than a graduated pipette. It is for preparing standards. It is not for reagents that attack glass, and it is not a blow-out pipette unless it is marked as one.
A pipette moves a measured volume. A volumetric pipette delivers one line. A graduated pipette delivers along a scale. A Pasteur pipette is an uncalibrated transfer. A piston pipette uses a tip, and the tip has to seal on that pipette. A filter tip adds a barrier so aerosol from the sample does not reach the piston. Serological pipettes are the long graduated tubes used with a controller. The volume and the fit are the specification. Piston pipettes are treated under ISO laboratory apparatus. In-vitro work also meets ISO in vitro diagnostic systems.
