Description

Waterproof multiparameter handheld meter HI98195/10 with HI7698195/10 probe and 10 m cable delivers professional water-quality measurements directly in the field or production environment. The multisensor probe supports up to nine important parameters, including pH, redox potential, conductivity and temperature, together with derived conductivity results such as total dissolved solids, resistivity and salinity in selectable units. Digital transmission from probe to meter enables clear text and graphic display plus on-board recording. Two colour-coded sensor ports accept threaded, field-replaceable electrodes that the system recognises automatically. Users may run a one-point quick calibration with HI9828-25 solution or standard multipoint calibrations for pH and conductivity, with automatic temperature compensation. Meter housing meets IP67; the probe is IP68 for permanent immersion, and the Quick Connect DIN coupling provides a fast waterproof link. From manufacturer Hanna Instruments, the HI9819X platform adds comprehensive GLP records, storage of up to 45.000 logged values, a backlit graphic LCD and a rubber keypad with dedicated and virtual soft keys for guided setup. Supplied as 1 pc; net weight 3,38 kg.

Questions about Waterproof multiparameter portable meter with HI7698195/10 probe, 10 m cable

What is this article?

Waterproof multiparameter portable meter with HI7698195/10 probe, 10 m cable is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A dissolved-oxygen meter reads oxygen in a liquid, optically or with a Clark cell. A multiparameter meter adds pH, conductivity or both on one instrument. The sensor cap or the membrane is the consumable. A reading in air and a reading in water are different calibrations.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
