Description

Metal block for 12 × 12/16 mm sample vials is a dry-heating insert for metal blocks measuring 7,6 × 9,6 cm on the CODB150 system. It holds twelve sample vials of 12/16 mm diameter for controlled thermal processing in the laboratory. The matching dry-heating instrument from manufacturer Labbox provides temperature setting up to 150 °C with accuracy of ±0,2 °C for one position and 0,5 °C for two positions, continuous operation, and a timer with alarm from 1 min to 99 h 59 min, while an LED display indicates temperature and time. The unit operates at 230 V / 50 Hz, meets protection rating IP21 (DIN EN60529), and works with an external Pt1000 temperature sensor. Applications of the platform include COD determination at 148 or 150 °C, TOC at 120 °C, and total chromium, total phosphate and total nitrogen at 100 °C. The block is not included with the base heater and is offered here as a single accessory piece for vial-based sample heating in COD and related environmental or water-analysis procedures.

Questions about block for 12 x 15mm or 16mm test tubes

What is this article?

block for 12 x 15mm or 16mm test tubes is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Heating & cooling (other), inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Instruments de laboratoire.

This shelf holds heating and cooling equipment that is not a furnace, a mantle, a bath, an oven or an incubator. The question is still the range, the stability and what the heat actually touches.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
