Description
Metal block for 20 × 12/13 mm sample vials is a dry-heating insert sized for metal blocks of 7,6 × 9,6 cm on the CODB150 laboratory heating system. It accommodates twenty sample vials of 12/13 mm diameter for uniform thermal treatment in analytical workflows. The associated dry heater from manufacturer Labbox offers temperature setting up to 150 °C, accuracy of ±0,2 °C for one position and 0,5 °C for two positions, continuous mode, and a timer with alarm covering 1 min to 99 h 59 min, with temperature and time shown on an LED display. Operation is at 230 V / 50 Hz with protection class IP21 (DIN EN60529); an external Pt1000 temperature sensor is supported. The platform is suitable for COD determination at 148 or 150 °C, TOC at 120 °C, and total chromium, total phosphate and total nitrogen at 100 °C. This metal block is supplied separately as one piece and is not included with the base instrument, enabling vial-format sample heating for routine chemical oxygen demand and related parameter work.

Questions about block for 20 x 12mm or 13mm test tubes
What is this article?
block for 20 x 12mm or 13mm test tubes is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Heating & cooling (other), inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Instruments de laboratoire.
This shelf holds heating and cooling equipment that is not a furnace, a mantle, a bath, an oven or an incubator. The question is still the range, the stability and what the heat actually touches.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
