Description
BOLA Duett Temperature Probe Lemo Compact is a dual-channel laboratory temperature probe that places two independent PT 100 measuring elements in one PTFE-coated stainless steel tube (1.4571). The probe diameter is 8 mm and a drop protection ring of 12 mm diameter helps protect the assembly during handling and insertion. Two Lemo® size 1 sockets are mounted directly on the probe body, each wired in 4-wire technique so both sensors can be read independently for redundant or comparative measurement. Typical response times are T50 of 20 to 24 s and T90 of 30 s. Usable probe length is 300 mm, overall length is approximately 400 mm and the coupling section width is about 27 mm. The PTFE jacket provides broad chemical resistance for immersion in demanding laboratory media while the dual-sensor layout reduces the need for a second probe port. This compact Duett design from manufacturer Bohlender is supplied as a single piece for laboratory and process setups that benefit from two PT 100 channels in a single immersion body with direct Lemo compact connections.

Questions about BOLA Double Temperature Probes Lemo Compact, Ø 8 mm, L 400 mm PTFE/Stainless Ste
What is this article?
BOLA Double Temperature Probes Lemo Compact, Ø 8 mm, L 400 mm PTFE/Stainless Ste is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
