Description
Muffle furnace SNOL 10/1300 LSM21 is a high-precision chamber furnace intended for hardening, annealing, normalising and other thermal processing methods up to 1300 °C. The useful chamber volume is 10 l, with a vacuum-formed ceramic fibre muffle and heating elements mounted on ceramic tubes; the chamber is heated from two sides. An exhaust chimney with fan helps limit release of process gases into the room during heat treatment. A side-opening door with safety switch, ceramic base plate, lower control panel and microprocessor temperature controller (Omron E5CC basic model) complete the working configuration. Chamber dimensions are 190 mm width, 335 mm depth and 170 mm height; external dimensions are 500 mm × 710 mm × 560 mm. Electrical data include 2,4 kW power, 230 V, 50 Hz, single phase. Maximum heat-up time without charge is 50 min; temperature stability after equilibration is ±1 °C and uniformity ±10 °C. Net weight is 38 kg (gross 49 kg). This model from manufacturer SnolTherm is suited to scientific laboratories, education, medicine and industry where controlled high-temperature work is required.

Questions about Muffelofen 10L 1300°C
What is this article?
Muffelofen 10L 1300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes SnolTherm for laboratory use. It sits in Fours à moufle & fours tubulaires, inside Chauffage, séchage et refroidissement, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
