De MI 400 - S is een speciaal afgedichte ketel met klopper. In combinatie met de MultiDrive basic is hij geschikt voor het droog slijpen van diverse toepassingen, zoals hout, diervoeders, diepvriesproducten of kunststoffen.
De speciale afdichting van de container zorgt ervoor dat de druk via het deksel kan ontsnappen tijdens het vermalen van bijvoorbeeld zeer fijn poeder. Het product wordt in de container vastgehouden door een speciaal schuim.
De maalruimte moet handmatig worden gereinigd. De klopper kan eenvoudig worden gedemonteerd voor intensieve reiniging.
Een standaard roestvrijstalen garde is bij de levering inbegrepen. Andere optionele gereedschappen, zoals een stervormig mes van roestvrij staal of een garde van hard metaal, zijn apart verkrijgbaar.
