The glass-silk flat element measures 15 × 400 mm and is rated up to 400 °C. A 1,5 m silicone connection lead is fitted with a 5-pole diode connector for simple instrument connection. When used with heating mantles, the flat geometry is suited to temperature measurement between the glass flask and the heating element, capturing the interface temperature that influences boiling and reaction control. Alternative dimensions or constructions are available on request from manufacturer ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik. Supplied as a single piece with a net weight of 0,2 kg, the MIL-TNF probe provides a lightweight, flexible sensing option for mantle-based glassware work.
