Tube Mill control S003 is a batch analytical mill that uses disposable grinding cups to eliminate cross-contamination and cleaning effort between samples. Transparent cups and cover allow visual observation of the grinding process at any time. The mill processes hard (up to Mohs hardness 5), brittle and dry materials and is especially suited to seed samples such as maize and wheat. Safety is central: the drive starts only with the hood closed and a correctly seated, properly closed cup; an incorrectly fitted cup triggers an error and prevents start-up. During operation the cup cannot be opened. A labyrinth seal between drive and cups keeps dust contained. Features include a clear multilingual OLED display, timer from 5 s to 3 min, USB interface for control and documentation, switchable interval mode, continuously adjustable speed from 5000 to 25000 1/min, selectable operating modes, adjustable safety speed and safety time, programmable and storable trial conditions, error-code display, membrane keypad, dust-tight housing and low noise.
