Description
Universal oven UF260 is a forced-air universal oven with a spacious 256 l stainless steel interior for laboratory drying and thermal processing from at least 10 °C above ambient up to +300 °C. The set temperature range covers +20 °C to +300 °C. SingleDISPLAY ControlCOCKPIT operation includes an electronically adjustable exhaust-air flap and fan speed setting from 0 % to 100 % in 10 % steps. The oven is delivered with two grid shelves and a stainless steel door. An Ethernet interface enables readout of protocol data. Dual overtemperature protection and an integrated data logger with at least 10 years storage capacity support process safety and traceability. Three calibration values can be set on the ControlCOCKPIT, and a factory calibration certificate for +160 °C is provided. Structured stainless steel housing measures 824 × 1183 × 684 mm; the stainless steel interior measures 640 × 800 × 500 mm. This model from manufacturer Memmert requires 230 V, 50/60 Hz and has a maximum power consumption of approximately 3400 W, with a net weight of 110 kg for stable bench or stand installation in routine laboratory workflows.

Questions about Universal oven UF260, 256l, 20-300°C
What is this article?
Universal oven UF260, 256l, 20-300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Chauffage, séchage et refroidissement, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
