Description
Universal oven UF260mplus is a forced-convection medical-device oven with a 256 l stainless-steel chamber for drying, heating and thermal applications from at least 10 °C above ambient to +300 °C (setpoint +20 °C to +300 °C). TwinDISPLAY ControlCOCKPIT provides dual-screen operation, program transfer, online logging and a USB port for stick-based data handling, alongside Ethernet readout of protocol data. Two grid shelves, a stainless-steel door, and electronically adjustable exhaust flap and fan speed (each 0 %–100 % in 10 % steps) support flexible process control. Multiple overtemperature protection, an integrated data logger with at least 10 years capacity, three calibration values at the ControlCOCKPIT and a factory calibration certificate at +160 °C underpin documented operation. Housing dimensions are 824 × 1183 × 684 mm with interior 640 × 800 × 500 mm; supply is 230 V, 50/60 Hz at about 3400 W maximum. From manufacturer Memmert, the UF260mplus is intended for laboratories and medical environments needing reproducible forced-air thermal processing with extended connectivity.

Questions about Universal oven UF260mplus, 256l, 20-300°C
What is this article?
Universal oven UF260mplus, 256l, 20-300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
