Description
VALEGRO 1801H circulating chiller is a compact laboratory temperature-control unit with integrated heating and an extended working range from −20 to +85 °C. It supplies a constant cooling capacity of 1,8 kW at 20 °C and maintains temperature stability of ± 0,2 °C, supporting reliable processes around the clock in laboratory, research and production environments. The pump is percentage-adjustable across multiple stages for flexible flow control. Built by manufacturer Julabo, the refrigeration circuit operates with an environmentally friendly natural refrigerant, and the compact design fits seamlessly into typical workspaces. An inclined OLED touch display with intuitive full-text menus in German and English provides clear readability and ergonomic operation; warnings and system messages appear in plain language. Everyday conveniences include a timer, autostart, data logging, a tool-free removable ventilation grille, an illuminated easy-to-clean fill-level indicator and castors for good handling. Interfaces include RS232 and USB-C, with Ethernet available optionally, all positioned directly below the display for easy front access. Delivery includes two hose olives each for 8 mm and 12 mm internal-diameter tubing; pump connections use M16x1 external thread. Net weight is 43,300 kg.

Questions about VALEGRO 1801H recirculating cooler
What is this article?
VALEGRO 1801H recirculating cooler is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Julabo for laboratory use. It sits in Circulators, chillers & thermostats, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A circulator or thermostat holds a bath liquid at a set temperature and pumps it through a jacket. A chiller is the same idea aimed below ambient. The temperature range, the cooling power and the pump flow are the three numbers. The fluid has to match the range.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
