Description
Biological premium microscope Quantum BM with trinocular head offers an infinity-corrected optical system and a Siedentopf-type head inclined at 30°, with interpupillary distance adjustable between 50 mm and 75 mm and 360° rotation. Wide-field WF10X/20 mm eyepieces work with an inverted quadruple nosepiece carrying plan-achromatic infinity-corrected objectives 4X, 10X, 40X and 100X (oil), each with anti-fungus treatment. The double-layer mechanical stage of 155 × 142 mm provides 76 × 50 mm X–Y movement and a 0,1 mm Vernier scale for precise specimen positioning. Coaxial focusing achieves 0,002 mm precision with tension control. A centered Abbe condenser N.A. 1,25 with iris diaphragm and adjustable 3 W LED illumination complete the optical setup. Dust cover, fuse, filter and 100–240 V adapter are included. Supplied as 1 pc from manufacturer Labbox under a 2-year warranty, the trinocular Quantum BM configuration supports documentation and shared viewing in biological laboratory applications.

Questions about Quantum BM Superior Biological Microscope, trinocular head
What is this article?
Quantum BM Superior Biological Microscope, trinocular head is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Microscope objectives, eyepieces & optics, inside Microscopy & histology, in Instruments de laboratoire.
An objective makes the resolution. Magnification and numerical aperture are the two numbers, and the tube length or the infinity correction has to match the microscope. An eyepiece mostly enlarges the image the objective already resolved. A mismatched objective does not become sharper by zooming.
A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
