RC 2 control is a highly energy-efficient, temperature-stable recirculating chiller with a unique wireless controller, engineered for cooling tasks down to −30 °C at a robust 400 W cooling capacity. The speed-controlled PEEK pump permits indirect, stepless setting of maximum pressure and volume flow. Outstanding temperature constancy of ± 0,05 K (at −10 °C) meets even demanding applications. From the high-quality insulated 4-litre bath reservoir, up to 2,5 litres of thermal fluid are available for the external circuit without topping up. An integrated filling funnel and drain valve support safe, clean fluid handling; an optimised bath base allows complete emptying. Temperature, pump speed, fill level and safety temperature are displayed on a large, clear TFT screen. A clearly visible level indicator, easily accessible air filter, and optical plus acoustic warnings complete the design. An external PT 100 temperature sensor is included. Supplied by manufacturer IKA, the unit suits circulating coolers and thermostatic baths in laboratory environments.
