MIXdrive 1 HT is an ultra-flat, wear-free magnetic stirring system with one stirring position for volumes up to 10,000 ml. It uses a 100 % wear- and maintenance-free induction drive for powerful mixing of solutions, delivering fully synchronous rotation and jerk-free stirring even at low speeds. The completely encapsulated, hermetically sealed stainless steel housing is rated IP68, making the unit water-, dust- and germ-tight, extremely robust, easy to clean and highly resistant. It can be immersed in water or oil baths and is suitable for use in CO2 incubators and ovens. The HT version operates up to +95 °C when immersed in water baths and up to +200 °C in air or ovens, with an ambient air range from −10 to +200 °C. Housing dimensions are 180 × 180 × 38 mm; net weight is 3,00 kg and gross shipping weight approximately 3,3 kg. Maximum stirring power is 20 W at up to 48 VDC. The MIXcontrol control unit must be ordered separately. Developed and made in Germany by manufacturer 2mag, the system is covered by a three-year warranty on material and manufacturing defects.
