Description
STIRRING DRYBATH 15-100 is a combined stirring and heating block with 15 positions, optimised for 100 ml laboratory bottles and 150 ml beakers. Fifteen bores of ø 57,5 mm and 48 mm depth, spaced 65 mm apart, support viscosity determinations, R&D, combinatorial chemistry, biological work and studies of polymer dissolution behaviour, as well as quality assurance in food, chemical and wastewater laboratories. The unit from manufacturer 2mag uses a wear-free inductive magnetic drive for 100 % synchronous stirring from 100 to 2,000 rpm, with SoftStart, jerk-free low-speed running and a 10-step power setting from 10 to 100 % (max. 40 W) for viscous media or warm-up-free continuous duty. A solid one-piece aluminium-alloy heating block with PTFE coating provides chemical resistance and easy cleaning, regulated heating from +40 to +200 °C, PowerDetect compensation of temperature-related stirring losses, and a specially insulated stainless-steel frame for even heat transfer and touch protection. The separate heatMIXcontrol unit protects the electronics, offers an independent adjustable over-temperature limiter, Pt100 sample-probe connection and RS232 interface. Housing protection is IP20; supply 230 V AC; max. heating power 1,000 W; dimensions 280 × 430 × 120 mm; net weight about 18,80 kg.

Questions about 2mag - STIRRING DRYBATH 15-100 Multiple stirring heating block for 15x100 ml
What is this article?
2mag - STIRRING DRYBATH 15-100 Multiple stirring heating block for 15x100 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes 2mag for laboratory use. It sits in Hot plates & heating blocks, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Instruments de précision.
A hot plate heats a flat-bottom vessel from below, often with stirring. A heating block holds tubes in machined holes so each tube sees the same temperature. The block's hole diameter has to match the tube, or the heat never arrives.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
