DG 3.10 reconnaît la desmogléine 1 + 2 (cadherines spécifiques des desmosomes) dans les cellules exprimant des desmosomes ; ne réagit pas avec les cellules contenant des jonctions en plaque de type non desmosomal. Tumeurs spécifiquement détectées : toutes les tumeurs dérivées de l'épithélium, notamment les carcinomes, et les méningiomes. Polypeptide réagissant : Desmogléine de Mr 165 000, polypeptide 'band 3' du complexe desmosomal. L'épitope reconnu a été localisé au domaine de l'unité répétitive ('RUD') de la partie C-terminale cytoplasmique du polypeptide. Réactivité sur lignées cellulaires cultivées : A-431, MDBK.
