Description
Auxiliary lens 0,3x, L100 is an optical accessory for the LYNX stereo microscope platform, intended to adapt overall magnification for industrial inspection, electronics, gemmology and quality control. Fitted to the L100 configuration, the 0,3x factor supports lower magnification viewing of larger fields and bulkier specimens while remaining part of the same modular optical path. Host instruments are offered in binocular or trinocular form with Greenough optics, a 45° inclined head rotatable through 360°, interpupillary distance adjustable from 54 to 75 mm and bilateral diopter correction of ±5. They carry WF10X/22 mm eyepieces and a continuous zoom from 0,67X to 4,5X (ratio 6,7:1), giving a standard range of 6,7X to 45X that optional accessories can extend up to 270X. A 105 mm working distance eases observation of voluminous objects; rack-and-pinion focusing with dual controls and a base with transparent stage plate, specimen clips and dual adjustable LED illumination (incident and transmitted) complete the setup. This single-piece auxiliary lens from manufacturer Labbox integrates with that LYNX ecosystem under the stated two-year instrument warranty framework.

Questions about Auxiliary lens 0,3x, L100
What is this article?
Auxiliary lens 0,3x, L100 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Microscope objectives, eyepieces & optics, inside Microscopy & histology, in Instruments de laboratoire.
An objective makes the resolution. Magnification and numerical aperture are the two numbers, and the tube length or the infinity correction has to match the microscope. An eyepiece mostly enlarges the image the objective already resolved. A mismatched objective does not become sharper by zooming.
A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
