Description
C 1 Package 1/10 is a static jacket combustion calorimeter of the latest generation, combining a high degree of automation with an exceptionally compact footprint. It works according to DIN 51900 and ISO 1928, with temperature evaluation following the classical isoperibol method after Regnault-Pfaundler. A lightweight, simply attachable combustion chamber replaces the conventional heavy screw-type decomposition vessel. Interfaces for PC, balance and printer support integration into laboratory workflows. This package from manufacturer IKA comprises the C 1 calorimeter with standard combustion chamber C 1.10 and the RC 2 basic cooling water supply. All parts needed for installation are included, together with wear parts and consumables for the first 500 experiments including 25 calibrations. The C 1.10 chamber is fitted with the large crucible holder C 5010.5 and the large quartz crucible C 6. Optional calorimeter software C 6040 Calwin enables extended data management and LIMS connection.

Questions about C 1 Package 1/10, Calorimeter, with chiller
What is this article?
C 1 Package 1/10, Calorimeter, with chiller is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
