Description
C 1 Package 3/10 is a highly automated calorimeter that still requires exceptionally little bench space. It works according to DIN 51900 and ISO 1928, with temperature evaluation performed by the classical isoperibol Regnault-Pfaundler method. The package enables operation of the C 1 calorimeter via a cold-water mains connection of drinking-water quality in the range 5 °C to 25 °C (water temperature 21 °C: measuring mode 30 °C). The included water heater maintains a constant starting temperature for every determination, so a separate cooler is not required. The water line may be connected to the heater at a maximum pressure of 6 bar/0,6 MPa; for higher or non-constant pressure the optional C 25 water pressure valve is recommended. From manufacturer IKA the scope of supply comprises the C 1 calorimeter, C 1.10 combustion chamber and C 1.20 water heater, together with all parts needed for installation plus wear parts and consumables for the first 500 tests including 25 calibrations. The compact footprint suits laboratories that need reliable calorific-value measurement with minimal space demand.

Questions about C 1 Package 3/10, Calorimeter, with heater, tap water
What is this article?
C 1 Package 3/10, Calorimeter, with heater, tap water is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
