In two specialised containers, defined air humidity levels of 11,3 % RH and 75,3 % RH are generated with the aid of salt solutions. The humidity probe is screwed into the first measuring chamber for testing and thereby exposed to the defined relative humidity. After an equilibration period a stable humidity is established, so the displayed value on the measuring instrument can be compared with the reference. The probe is then screwed into the second measuring chamber and the procedure is repeated. This accessory from manufacturer Testo is intended specifically for Testo humidity probes and is supplied as a single set.
