Counting system KERN CCA 10K-5M is a high-resolution counting solution for counting the smallest parts in large quantities, with a maximum displayable piece count of 999.999. Optional verification makes the system suitable for legally regulated metrology applications and enables economical replacement of many individual scales. The reference unit is a KERN EWJ precision balance, usable alone or with the high-capacity platform; internal automatic adjustment every two hours ensures stable accuracy independent of location. A standard wind shield protects the weighing chamber measuring 134×128×80 mm (W×D×H), and a protective working cover is included. Piece counting takes place on the KERN IFS platform to heavy industrial standard for rough use. The aluminium single-point load cell (1×3000 e) provides IP65 dust and splash protection. An ergonomic evaluation device with large keypad and high-contrast displays shows weight, reference weight and total piece count for easy entry of tare, reference weights and limits. One hundred article memory locations hold master data such as reference weight, reference quantity and container tare. Manual reference optimisation improves the average part weight step by step; summing of counted pieces and printout of date and time support traceable work.
