Counting system KERN CCS 10K-6 is a high-accuracy parts-counting solution for counting very small components in large quantities, with a maximum displayed piece count of 999.999. The system combines a professional reference balance (KERN CFS 300-3), which can also be used standalone, with a high-capacity quantity scale (KERN KFP 15V20M) so that a wide range of single balances can be replaced cost-effectively. Via the keypad the operator can program the desired reference piece count or a known reference weight. Three displays show weight, reference weight and total piece count. A PLU memory stores articles with additional text, reference weight and tare weight, for example of a container. Fill-to-target allows target piece count or target weight to be set, with acoustic and optical signals at the setpoint. Automatic reference optimisation stepwise improves the average piece weight for precise counting. The quantity platform uses a stainless-steel weighing plate on a lacquered steel base with an aluminium single-point load cell (1×3000 e) and IP65 dust and splash protection.
