Fe 14549 is an iron reaction cuvette test for photometric determination of iron in aqueous samples. The measuring range extends from 0,05 to 4,00 mg/l Fe and requires a sample volume of 5 ml. Each package provides 25 ready-to-use tests in 16 mm round cuvettes and is fully compatible with PhotoLab® and pHotoFlex® photometers. The underlying chemistry follows the triazine method and every batch is supplied with a certificate. Combicheck CC90 supports routine quality control. For total-iron analysis the additional Crack-Set 10 (250 496) together with empty round cuvettes (250 621) or the Crack-Set 10-C (252 033) is required. Manufactured by WTW – a Xylem brand, this cuvette test delivers consistent results for environmental monitoring, process control and laboratory water analysis. The pre-dosed reagents minimise handling steps and reduce the risk of contamination, making the kit suitable for both high-throughput and occasional iron determinations in drinking water, wastewater and surface-water matrices.
