Fermentation vessel for bioreactor MyFerm, 2 l is a wide-neck glass vessel intended as the process core of modular MyFerm laboratory fermentation and bioreactor systems. The vessel features a central GL 80 wide-neck thread, three integrated baffles for improved mixing, four ports with external GL 18 threads and two ports with external GL 32 threads for sensors, sampling, gassing or liquid transfer. Outer diameter is 136 mm and height is 248 mm, giving a compact footprint suitable for bench-scale work. Manufactured from borosilicate glass 3.3, the vessel offers the chemical and thermal robustness expected in laboratory fermentation glassware. From manufacturer Landgraf HLL, it forms the basis for the modular MyFerm III and IV series and can be expanded with screw fittings for measurement technology, probes and dip tubes, heat exchangers, magnetic or overhead stirring, and peristaltic pumps into a complete fermentation plant. Supplied as a single piece, this fermentation vessel supports flexible configuration of stirred reactors, bioreactors and fermenters in research, process development and teaching laboratories that rely on the MyFerm platform.
