The ball funnel "ARNOLD" V2.0 B83 is an electrically dissipative safety funnel for the secure disposal of hazardous liquid wastes. With a funnel diameter of 200 mm, it is manufactured from high-quality PE-HD-EC material that provides maximum stability and durability while allowing static charges to be discharged through the grounding cable. This makes the funnel especially suitable for explosive or flammable substances. Two independent safety mechanisms—an integrated ball in the funnel basin and a sealing ring incorporated in the hinged lid—prevent the escape of toxic gases. The unit includes a 220 mm safety lance that can be individually shortened for clean draining of liquid waste, an improved splash guard with integrated air channels to avoid bubble formation, and an optimised removable sieve for retaining larger particles and supporting laboratory bottles. The hinged lid with sealing ring seals the funnel when not in use, and all essential components are removable for easy cleaning. Available from manufacturer SCAT for various container threads, with some variants supplied with a thread adapter that does not affect functionality or safety.
