Fabricated from white high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the funnel has a 200 mm diameter and is supplied with a hinged lid, 220 mm safety lance, splash protection and removable sieve. Dual independent safety features—a ball integrated in the funnel basin and a sealing ring in the hinged lid—block the release of toxic or health-hazardous gases when closed. An improved splash guard with integrated air channels helps avoid bubble formation during filling, while the optimised sieve catches larger particles and offers a resting surface for laboratory bottles. The ball valve opens automatically on filling; the safety lance can be shortened as needed for clean discharge. All main components are removable for straightforward cleaning.
