Ball funnel "ARNOLD" V2.0 with GL45 thread is an electrically dissipative safety funnel for secure disposal of hazardous liquid wastes in the laboratory. Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (PE-HD / PEHD-EC), it combines two independent safety mechanisms: a ball integrated in the funnel basin and a sealing ring in the hinged lid that together prevent escape of toxic gases. The funnel is especially suited to flammable or explosive substances because static charges can be discharged via the supplied grounding cable. It features a 200 mm funnel diameter, a 220 mm safety lance that can be individually shortened, an optimised removable sieve for particle retention, and an improved splash guard with air channels to reduce bubble formation. A ball valve opens automatically during filling, and the hinged lid closes securely when not in use. All essential components from manufacturer SCAT are removable for easy cleaning. Thread adapters may be supplied on selected variants without affecting functionality or safety.
