Constructed from durable white high-density polyethylene (PE-HD), it offers a 200 mm funnel diameter together with a 220 mm safety lance, splash protection and removable sieve. Dual independent safety features—an integrated ball in the funnel pan and a sealing ring within the hinged lid—block the release of toxic or health-hazardous gases. When not in use the hinged lid with sealing ring provides a secure closure. The optimised sieve retains larger particles and allows laboratory bottles to be set down stably. Enhanced splash protection incorporating air channels reduces bubble formation. A ball valve opens automatically during filling, while the individually shortenable safety lance ensures clean discharge of liquid residues. All main components can be detached for easy cleaning. The redesigned construction increases stability and longevity and prevents deformation under intensive use. Offered by manufacturer SCAT, this S70/71-thread variant supports various container threads; selected models include a thread adapter that does not compromise function or safety.
