Description
Haematocrit capillary, 60 µl, is a disposable glass capillary for haematocrit determination and related micro-volume blood handling. Each tube is 75 mm long, with an outer diameter of 1,3–1,4 mm and an inner diameter of 0,9–1,0 mm, giving a nominal volume of 60 µl. The capillaries are non-heparinised and marked with a blue colour code for quick visual identification at the bench. They conform to DIN EN ISO 12772 and are CE marked in accordance with IVD Directive 98/79/EC. Intended for single use only, these capillaries from manufacturer Hirschmann support standardised haematocrit workflows in clinical, hospital and research laboratories. The defined bore and length promote consistent sample uptake and packing during centrifugation. Supplied in packs of 5000 pieces, the product suits high-throughput routine diagnostics where reliable non-heparinised glass capillaries are required.
